Investarm Italy Instruction Parts Schematic for Hawken Rifles 1980s issue OK for Lyman Plains

OUR # mlINV86V |
Item DescriptionThis listing is for ONE parts schematic for the Investarm Hawken Rifles imported in such overwhelming numbers in the 1980s. Every one of them we opened had this document inside the box. Its only instruction is Caution / When firing your frifle, USA BLACK POWDER ONLY, as smokeless powder or other propellants are extremely dangerous. Mind you, these were printed before the days when Pyrodex was widely marketed. Publisher was Investarm Fabrida D’Armi, s.p.a., of Marcheno, Italy, the manufacturer of the rifles themselves. Most of the Investarms we sold in the 1980s and early 1990s were imported by Navy Arms, but not marked as such. At some point in the 1990s, Lyman took over primary importation, so these manuals, or schematics, or whatever you want to call them, are somewhat correct for the Lymans. The Italians’ point was, to include a document that looked like an instruction manual, since the Americanos weren’t real keen about reading them anyway. There were separate manuals, but not as exciting as this schematic. Construction is a single sheet folded into a 6 secition 6 by 8 3/4 glossy looking document. These was one of these in every Investarm we opened, sitting between the layers of styrofoam. Surface detractions are only moderate, appropriate age toning from them being stored in our upright file for 35 some odd years. Note the different shades to their coloration. Any of these documents will enhance the collectability of an Investarm Hawken Rifle. We’re offering them each for only $ 16.00. |
