From its newspaper stuffing, these holsters were manufactured in April of 2005, and destined for the Springfield, Massachusetts, Police Department, whence they came to us in unissued condition. Construction is two ply leather center and interior layers, with single ply synthetic Clarino finish outer layer. Stitching is black dyed cotton cord. Thumb break snap system is black coated brass and steel, with polymer internal pad. This holster will fit the above enumerated pistols; and it is a decent enough fit for a Smith & Wesson 39 or 59 series pistol; and for the Star 28 and 30 series pistols. It leaves 1/2 inch of gap to the hammer spur on the 39, 59, and Stars, but will retain even with a stunt actor doing flips wearing it.
