Standard Sporting Firearms Parts List and Statement of Warranty for Sentinel Mk
II, MK III Revolvers, chambered in .357 Magnum caliber. Printer was High
Standard Sporting Firearms, 1817 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, Connecticut 06514, so
marked. Parts Breakdown is dated 1974; warranty 1975. Parts Breakdown is a
single 8 1/2 x 11 Glossy sheet, red, black, and white; Warranty is 8 1/2 x 13
with detachable receipt. The intent for the document was to validate High
Standard’s one year warranty. Its reverse side has a list of Authorized
Warranty Repair Stations, including our esteemed colleagues at Gun City in
Nashville, and McBride’s in Austin. Minimal wear, principally aging from years
of storage in a Miami Distributorship. For owners of Mark II, Mark III, and
descendant Dan Wesson Revolvers, instructions and videos are numerous and
available online. The point of these two documents is their period correctness
and ability to enhance the collectability of the firearms themselves.
