This listing is for the exact ring in the photos. From its exclusive owner in Northeast Mississippi comes this super sized, pretty, 1/4 carat Diamond Cluster Ring. Manufacturer was Jess Jewelers of Bradenton, FL, attest the ARS stamping inside. We estimate it was manufactured late 1980s, one of their first commercial creations. Construction is 14 Karat Yeloow Gold Mounting, Deco Style, with 29 diamonds set in white gold prongs in a marquese pattern. We estimate it was manufactured in the mid 1980s. Diamonds measure .01 carat apiece, so 1/4 Carat Total Diamond Weight. Ring has been sized upward to a whopping 14 3/4, .939 inch shank diameter. It’s big enough, then, for most folks to wear on their thumbs or big toes. Shank thickness is good nevertheless. Gross weight is 3.14 grams. This ring and its mates sold originally for upwards of $400 apiece in their heyday four decades ago. Since jewelers routinely price their 10K rings at $60 per gram or more; and the diamonds at $500 to $1000 per Carat, you’d see a ring like this priced anywhere from $319 to $569 in a jewelry store. We’re offering this Memphis estate piece, however, for only $ 189.00.
