            Exact
knife in the photos.
Early postwar Japanese made novelty knife. Obverse
tang stamp reads only the word Stainless; reverse tang, Japan. Likely from
fledgling, recovering manufacturing capacity 1950 – 1954 on the Island of
Hokkaido. Stainless steel blade, hollow steel handles, steel fob loop, steel
liners and pins. 1930s type long drag, Clip pattern blade = 1 1/4 inch; overall
length 1 5/8 inches. Monogrammed initials D C M in script on the obverse panel,
with mild denting from the monogram process. Minimal wear otherwise, principally
toning to the handles. We rate Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, but photos
