Demilled Non Firing Breech Block Sig P6 P225 Pistol 9mm German Police Trainers ca 1970s
OUR # pt34225510v

Item Description

Please note that each breech block has been deliberately and thoroughly demilled; that is, rendered incapable of firing. This listing is for ONE breech block. Buy 3, or combine any 3 of our non gun non ammo items, and shipping is Free for the entire order lower 48. For reasons incomprehensible to us, then, the West German police rendered a few hundred of their Sig Sauer P6, or old model P225, service pistols useless, and used them for dry firing exercises in training new recuits. Manufacturer of these breech blocks was Sig Sauer, gmbh, of Eckenforde, Germany. Construction is entirely steel. These barrels will fit into a P6 or old model P225 Sig Sauer Slide on a drop in basis, if a person wants to convert it to a dummy. Models P228 and P229 will require fitting. This breech block is beveled on the front, so that it will Not accept a firing pin; and even if it could, the breech face would not contact the cartridge case head for that firing pin to ignite the primer. We offer these, however, as a souvenir or nostalgic reminder of Cold War Germany. Own one for only $ 9.00.
