Double / single action revolver, hammer nose ignition with internal hammer block. Steel metal, polymer grips. 6 rounds .38 Special, Not for +P. 2 inch Barrel. Serrated blade front and fixed notch rear sights. .225 serrated trigger with matching hammer. 1.40” cylinder dia.; 6 3/4 “ length; 4 1/2 height; weight 21.5 oz. empty. Correct cylinder timing all six, single action pull = 4 1/2 #. No lateral cylinder play. .006 forcing cone gap. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 times. Internals are clean. Finish is polished surface blued, with serrated frame sight area. Cylinder appears reblued from an original nickel. Grips are period correct Rogers combat, much like the originals. Note that they slightly overlap the grip frame back strap. Borinquen Air Station jurisdictional domicile, front line vs. castro and cartels. Surface detractions are moderate, principally muzzle area wear and occasional finish freckling. We rate this 2 inch Detective as Very Good 80 percent vicinity, but photos ought to suffice. Not transferable to civilian residents of California or Massachusetts.
