Colt Police Positive Special, fondly called El Pequeño en Latinoamérica. Colt’s Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co., Hartford, Conn. U.S.A. right side barrel; . Left side barrel reads Police Positive Special /  .38 Special Ctg.  719000 range serial = 1959. Traditional double and single action revolver, with transfer bar and hammer nose ignition. Entirely steel construction with 1970s period Pachmayr Grips. 4 inch barrel; blade front sight with fixed notch rear. 6 rounds .38 Special ammunition, not designed for +P. 9” L x 5” H x 1.40” cyl. dia. 28 oz empty. Polished surface surface nickel finish including trigger and hammer. .242 serrated trigger with matching hammer. Extensive detractions, principally finish flecks right side, cylinder surface, and edges. We rate as only Good, 65 – 70% but photos ought to suffice. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 times. Note the monogram left side. This revolver served in Ramey Air Force Base’s jurisdiction with Airman Ruben R. Muniz, later Don Ruben Ramírez Muñiz, Honorable Muere El Exalcalde de Yauco. We estimate a $100 gunsmith bill. At once serviceable and collectable. Transferable to C&Rs and to eligible California civilians as a relic. No non-C&R MA civilians.
