Left side barrel reads Police Positive Special /  .32 Colt N.P. Ctg.  820000 range serial = 1964. Traditional double and single action revolver, with transfer bar and hammer nose ignition. Entirely steel construction with factory walnut grips. 4 inch barrel; blade front sight with fixed notch rear. 6 rounds .32 N.P. or .32 S&W short or Long ammunition, interchangeably. 8 1/2” L x 4 1/2” H x 1.34” cyl. dia. 25.7 oz empty. Polished surface surface nickel finish / refinish including trigger and hammer. .242 checkered surface trigger with matching hammer. Moderate detractions, lettering weakness from refinish, grips refinished dulling and freckling. We rate as Good, perhaps Very Good nickel refinish, but photos ought to suffice. At once serviceable and collectable. Transferable to C&Rs and to eligible California civilians as a relic. No non-C&R MA civilians.
