Citadel 12 ga Beretta Type Auto Home Defense Tactical Shotgun 3” 20” Grooved Receiver New KATAC1220

Here is an exceptional value in a Home Protection or Tactical style shotgun. This is the Citadel KATAC1220. Manufacturer is Kirisi, KRC Av, of Beysehir, Republic of Turkey.  Importer and warrantor is Legacy Sports of Reno, NV. Type is gas operated semi automatic shotgun, with Beretta 300 type mechanism. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch and 3 inch shells interchangeably. Like its Italian ancestors, the Citadel will require a break-in period before it will cycle light load shells. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, magazine, return mechanism and internal parts built into an alloy receiver with fiber reinforced black graphite stock and forend. Barrel is 20 inches, and comes with wrench, case, .684 one slash Full, .700 three slash modified, and .709 five slash mark extended choke tubes, total of 3 tubes. Sight system is welded blade front that mates with the serrated 11mm Dovetailed receiver. Magazine is 4 shot, with removable 2 shot adapter. Capacity, then, is 4 + 1, on 2 3/4 inch shells, with similar placement capabilities and operation of the shell carrier to the Beretta parent guns.  Trigger is .265 smooth faced; the photo specimen pulled two stage at 8 pounds with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Safety is set for right handed shooters, triangular push button behind the trigger. Stock is one piece contoured. Stock drop is 1 1/2 by 2 3/8 inches, with a 1/2 inch right hand cast. Length of pull is 14 1/2 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 1 inch recoil pad. Shims are available from LSI’s excellent service department.  Forend lowers and lower laterals have Beretta type grooves and contours. Overall length is 41 inches.  Weight empty is 6 pounds 4 ounces. Finish is matte black. Each KATAC1220 comes in its factory box with instruction manual, statement of one year warranty, 1300 fps ammo flyer, chamber protector, handle protector, and protective papers.
