Exact rifle in the photos. SKS type 56 Rifle. Jianshe Arsenal, Communist China. 12 prefix = 1968. This one was Albanian domicile; its production mates, however, served with the NVA and VC forces. Semi auto gas operated carbine. Swivel type internal magazine holds 10 round 7.62x39 caliber ammunition. Milled blued steel 20 1/2” chrome lined barrel, steel parts, Asian Laminated Stock with hardwood handguard. Elevation adjustable post front sight; calibrated flip up 600m military rear. Lever safety for right handed shooters. .305 two stage trigger, 8 1/4 pound pull, extensive creep. 12 1/2 inch length of pull. 40 3/8 overall length; 7 pounds 11 oz empty. Correct spike bayonet. Blued finish; bolt is arsenal reblue. Metal finish we think will pass as Excellent condition; Surface detractions are principally stock and guard scouring, we rate overall as Very Good, 80 – 85%, but photos ought to suffice. Furnished with correct Chicom sling and oiler. CAI importer stamp left side barrel. Clean internally, we estimate fired fewer than 200 times. Definitely C&R Eligible.
