This listing is for the exact box or case in the photos. From one of our trades comes this factory case or box for a 2 inch to 4 inch medium frame revolver. Manufacturer was Charter Arms of Shelton, CT, and so marked on the label. Construction is two piece hinged plastic case with hinged hasps and lid pivot, with gray foam lined interior. From its enclosed fired brass case, this box left Shelton in 2007. It originally housed a 4 inch Police Bulldog Charter .38, but it will accept any Charter Arms Revolver with 2 inch to 4 inch barrel. Interior dimensions are 9 7/8 inches length by 7 inches height by 3 1/2 inches thickness, so external dimensions are slightly more. Front face closes for handle aperture, and has channels for locks to be installed. This box or case comes with the revolver’s original Instruction manual, Charter 2000 spec sheet, DAC Lock key; and fired brass envelope. Finish is textured black. Surface detractions are minimal, principally age dimming and edge curling to the original factory label. We rate this case as Excellent Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. We’re offering it for only $ 33.00.
