Exact revolver in photos. Charter Arms’s Undercover .38 snub. Charter Arms Corp / Bridgeport, Conn. marked barrel. 3800 range serial = 1965, part of the first full year’s production. Traditional double / single action pocket revolver with transfer bar. Steel barrel, cylinder, yoke, pin, hammer, trigger, main frame and internal parts with alloy grip frame. 5 rounds .38 Special ammunition, not rated for +P. 2 inch steel tapered barrel, no shroud. Fixed sights. .312 serrated trigger and hammer. Factory magna service walnut grip panels. 6 3/8 inch length; 4 in height; 1.30 cyl dia. 15 1/2 ounces empty. Polished surface blued barrel and main frame, gloss black anodized grip frame, color casehardened trigger / hammer. Its home domicile was Borinquen Air Station jurisdiction, Cold War guard against castro and cartels, attest its Squadron Markings right side main frame, over one cylinder chamber, and underneath the top strap. Otherwise, Surface detractions are minimal, principally faint grip mars and edge wear. We rate it Excellent, Agency Marked, 90%, but photos ought to suffice. We estimate it was fired fewer than 100 times. Transferable to eligible California Civilians and to C&R Holders across the country due to its 50 years age and consequent Curio & Relic Status. Not transferable to non-C&R Civlians in Massachusetts.
