Item Description

This listing is for the exact knife in the photos. From years of storage comes this somewhat rare specimen of the Case XX Grandaddy Barlow Pocket Knife. Manufacturer and warrantor was W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery of Bradford, PA. Production year was 1971, attest the tang stamp style and 9 dots. Construction is entirely chrome vanadium carbon steel metal with genuine bone handle panels. Pattern is Barlow type 1 Blade Jack Knife. Overall length closed is 5 inches; clip pattern blade measures 4 1/4 inches from heel to point. Weight is 117 grams. Finish is polished surface metal, and polished surface panels. Markings are correct with 6143 pattern number on the reverse tang. Surface detractions are minimal, faint streaking from light use.
