This listing is for the exact document in the photos. From the days of International Distributors Importation of Taurus Handguns comes this pristine spec sheet that issued with Taurus’s model 66 Revolvers. Manufacturer was Forjas Taurus, S.A., of Porto Alegre, Brazil, and so marked. Issuance was late 1970s or early 1980s, by our estimate. The period of Taurus Importation under International Distributors in Miami was from the mid 1970s until about 1983, the corresponding end of Bangor Punta ownership of related company Smith & Wesson. Construction is one piece of standard paper, folded dimensions 3 7/8 inches by 7 inches, on black & white ink. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint to moderate age toning. Owners of older production blued or nickel finish Taurus 66 series revolvers who simply want instructions or schematics can download or print free from a whole host of sites, principally taurususa com. Owners, however, of excellent condition Taurus 66s with serial numbers below 1500000, who do not have their original paperwork, will find that this document enhances their revolver’s value and collectability.
