Cutlery Company, Camillus, NY. Tuxedo style, small pen knife. Camillus / New
York / USA is 1948 – 1956 tang stamp, on the main Spear pattern blade only. Reverse
tang bears the 49P pattern number. Estimated production late 1940s, attest the
long drag groove in the spear blade. Solid imitation pearl celluloid handles.
Carbon steel blades, backsprings, and bolsters; brass liners and handle pins. 1
3/4 inch main Spear pattern blade; 1 1/2 secondary pen blade. 3 inch oal. Negligible
wear, never used or sharpened. Excellent spring strength. Minimal wear, only
some dark age freckles. We classify Excellent condition, but photos ought to
suffice.
