This listing is for ONE set of grips. Here is an early specimen of a 50 year old innovation that is useful as ever. Here is the Barami Clip Grip for its original recipient, the Smith & Wesson J Frame Square Butt Revolver. Models included are 31, 34, 36, 37, and 63, but only those with square butt grip frames. Manufacturer was Barami Corporation of Detroit. U.S. Patent number, molded beside the name, was 3397475, issued August 20 of 1968. These are marketed as the Barami Hip Grip. The Barami Corporation is live and well, but no longer into polymer casting. Construction of the Barami unit is hard plastic with molded reinforcement ribs inside the panels, secured with a standard brass escutcheon. Left panel is an original Smith & Wesson J Square Magna Service grip. They both are sized well enough to accommodate a Tyler T-Grip adapter. Surface detractions on them are only moderate, contact scouring and age dulling from their intended purpose, waist band carry. We rate these grips as Very Good Condition. These grips retain their usefulness, plus, they are period correct for any J Square revolver.
