From an Importer liquidation come these Action Retarders or Piston Buffers for an Akkar made model 600 auto shotgun chambered in 20 gauge. Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco of Miami, the Charles Daly Importer until 2015. Production dates ranged from 2010 until 2015. Construction is two ply injection molded polymer. Finish is semi gloss black. This retarder is an earlier, plain Jane version of schematic view #48, action retarder, or piston buffer. The newer parts are ribbed, more attractive, and perhaps even improved, but these will work on both older model and recent production Akkar 20 gauge 600 autos. Dimensions are 1.525 inches overall length;.906 inch inside diameter; and 1.238 inches outside diameter. These Action Retarders or Piston Buffers will only fit a Akkar model 600, or an Akkar / Charles Daly model 600 Semi Automatic shotgun chambered in 20 gauge. Surface detractions are minimal, only occasional shelf wear from Samco's warehouse.
