Item Description

This listing is for THREE Holsters. Here is an excellent holster marketed briefly by Sig Sauer. The attractive feature to this paddle type holster is its rapid deployment, that is, bending the back paddle and securing it to the owner’s right side without threading any belt. The pistol sits in the holster vertically, slides into place with a bending motion, and then sits on the operator’s hip. This is the Sig Sauer model 8500605, originally for Sig P290 series. Manufacturer was IMI Systems, Ltd., of Zichron, Israel. Importer was Sig Sauer of Newington, NH. Construction is one piece injection molded polymer, includes body, paddle and belt studs. This holster was designed for Sig P290 Micro Compacts as its photos show, but it will accept a whole host of pistols. It gave a good fit for Beretta 81 84 85 Cheetah series; for Beretta 70 71 Jaguar series and their 1934 1935 ancestors; for the Beretta M1951 and its clones; for Bersa .380 Thunder and 84 85 series pistols; For CZ75 type pistols with Round Trigger Guards; for Glocks with round faced trigger guards; for Sig Sauer P224 P225 P226 P228 P229 P365 Pistols but only the ones with round faced trigger guards; and for Smith & Wesson 3900, 4000, 5900, and 6900 series pistols with round trigger guards. Owners of Beretta 92, and Taurus 58, 92, 99, 915, and 917 series pistols can notch out the trigger guard area of the holster down to the end of its curve and still have 1 1/2 inches of body closure intact. That is also true for CZ, Glock, Sig, Springfield Armory, and Smith & Wesson Pistols with square faced trigger guards. The Smith & Wesson SD9 and its ancestors SW9VE class sit high and tight in this holster; its interior can be loosened with sanding, and the pistol position lowered by notching out the trigger guard area of the holster. Got Gorilla tape? 1911 Sized Pistols drop right in to this holster, but need some friction to prevent them bouncing around. That holds true as well for compact pistols like the CZ82, Sig P320, P938, Colt Mustang, Colt Government, and Kimber Micro. Tape should lay in vertically, top to bottom, to minimize it peeling off. Note the photo specimen Micro’s oversized stag grips are an issue. These holsters have minimal wear; their principal detractions is a spot of residue on top of the fold. We rate them as Excellent Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing for most any holster from the Sig Sauer Store is $75 to $89 on sigsauer com.
