This listing is for TWENTY magazines. For the first time in 50 years, here is a quality, all steel magazine to fit the Smith & Wesson 39 series pistols, manufactured from 1957 until 2008. They fit all Smith & Wesson’s metal frame 3900 series automatic 9mm pistols, from the original models 39 and 39-1 all the way to the 3913 and 3906 that were discontinued only a few years ago. Models included are 39, 39-1, 439, 639, 3904, and 3906. These magazines will fit the smaller sized, single stacked metal frame Smith & Wesson models 3913, 3914, 908, 908S, and 3953, but they will protrude from the grip frame on the smaller pistols. They will Not fit any other pistols. Manufacturer is one of the two dozen or so Taiwan Defense Industry suppliers. Construction is one piece folded steel body, with steel spring, steel inner and outer floorplates; and even a welded two piece steel follower identical to the early pre-39s and 39s issued in the 1950s and 1960s. Body closure is 6 spot welds and top dovetail, just like the original factory magazines were. Each magazine body is cartridge count ported, and holds 8 rounds of 9mm Luger caliber ammunition. Finish is buffed surface blued steel. Inferior aftermarket magazines are readily available; these are not to be confused with their unreliable US made knock-off competitors. They are as good as factory S&Ws. Last replacement pricing for factory 3900 magazines was upwards of $50 each.
