Manual manufacturer was Sturm, Ruger & Company of Southport, CT., in August of 1994, and so marked on the front cover underneath the revised factory label that redirects to Newport, NH. Manual Dimensions are 5 1/4 by 8 3/8 inches; 19 numbered pages and Red and Black ink on white pages. Surface detractions are negligible, only very faint age toning. New Model Mini 14 owners, and Older Mini 14 owners simply wanting instructions can download or print free of charge from ruger com. Owners, however, with excellent condition 197 prefix or lower Rifles, made before 2005, will find these documents enhance their rifle’s collectability.
