This listing is for the exact manual in the photos. Here is a Ruger Instruction Manual for the SP-101 series of revolvers from the Fourth Year of Production. Manufacturer was Sturm, Ruger & Company of Southport, CT., so marked on the front cover. The factory, interestingly, covered the CT label with one from New Hampshire. That likely reflects William Batterman Ruger being incensed with Connecticutian anti gun rattling that year. Dimensions are 5 1/4 by 8 3/8 inches; 30 numbered pages and Red and Black ink on white pages. Surface detractions are negligible. These are acceptable for any SP101 Rugers, but technically correct for those with 571 to 572 serial number prefixes. SP101 owners simply wanting instructions can download or print free of charge from ruger com. Owners, however, with excellent condition SP’s that have walnut insert grips and prefixes before 573 will find they enhance their revolver’s collectability.
