Case Lobster Gentleman’s Knife 82099 Mother of Pearl Mint 2 Blade

Knife in photos.
Manufacturer was Friedrich Olbertz of Solingen, Germany,
under license of its exclusive importer and distributor, W.R. Case & Sons,
Bradford, PA. Lobster / Gentleman’s style two blade with spear main blade and
fingernail file secondary blade; and with genuine Mother of Pearl handle
panels. Manufactured and imported in 1989, when Case was under James Parker’s
control. Main spear pattern blade tang is stamped W.R. / Case & Sons /
Cutlery Co. / Bradford PA on its obverse; with 8 2099 / Inox / Solingen / Germany
on reverse tang. File blade is not stamped. Stainless Inox steel blades and
backspring; with brass liners and handle pins; nickel steel medallion; and
Mother of Pearl handles. 1 13/16 inches main spear blade, with matching length
file blade. Negligible wear, we rate as Mint Condition, but photos ought to
suffice.
