Here are original Instructions for your Winchester Semi-Automatic Shotgun, for Winchester 1400 series shotguns. That includes 1400, 1500 XTR, and Winchester 140 Ranger. Printer was U.S. Repeating Arms Company of New Haven, CT, the parent manufacturer of the guns themselves from the 1980s until the Millennial Year when Browning Arms moved toward absorbing the company. Dimensions are 5 3/8 by 9 1/4 inches, eight sheets of double folded glossy paper with center staples, folded into a total of 16 un-numbered front and back pages, including the covers. Printing is red, brown, and black ink. Manual is quadrilingual, in English, French, German, and Spanish. Date code of 5/88 is on the back cover. Surface detractions are negligible, only very faint age toning from being stored for 33 some odd years in our old upright office file. Owners of Winchester model 1400, 1500, or 140 Ranger shotguns who simply want instructions can download or print free of charge from winchesterguns com or from a whole host of internet and video sites.
