Manufacturer and printer is Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. Manual is Black ink on white glossy paper, 23 numbered pages not counting the covers. Dimensions are 4 1/2 by 6 1/2 inches, the right size for a One Piece blue Box. Revision date is April of 1987, and matches the Wood Target Stocks on the 686 cover photo.
