Case No Dot USA Mother of Pearl 2 Blade Pen Knife 8233 Exc Pocket Knife

& Sons, Bradford, PA. Main California Clip Blade’s Tang is stamped, Case XX
/ USA, No Dot stamping, correct for 1964 – 1970. Note that the dot under the
letter A is a finish freckle, Not a 1979 indicator. 1979s were stamped under
the S, not under the A. Its reverse bears the 8233 pattern number. Original
8000 prefix genuine Mother of Pearl handles. Chrome vanadium steel blades and
backsprings; nickel bolsters, liners and handle pins. Not issued with any
medallion. 2 3/16 inch main California Clip blade; and 1 1/2 inch secondary pen
blade. Overall length 2 5/8 in closed. Excellent backspring strength.
Negligible wear, faint freckling on the clip blade’s obverse tang; otherwise never
sharpened or used. We rate it Excellent, perhaps Near Mint, but photos ought to
suffice.
