This listing is for the exact Catalog in the Photos. From 60 years of storage in our upright files comes this correct replica of Colt’s 1888 Catalog. Publisher was Colt’s Patent Firearms Manufacturing Co., of Hartford, CT. We estimate this replica to be mid 1960s. Most likely it came to our original proprietor from old Mr. Vince Shiel of Dayton Gun Headquarters in the 1960s. The Colt Factory Representative probably handed complimentary copies out on a limited bases. Note Fred Roberton’s signature on the front cover. Contents are 36 pages of black & white print inside a black tape bound blue set of covers. Dimensions are 8 1/2 by 11, horizontally positioned. Surface detractions are minimal, only age toning, which is entirely appropriate for this replica document; not enough toning, however, for anyone with sense to mistake it for an original. It is collectable in its own right. We’re offering it for only $ 49.00.
