This listing is for the exact ring in the photos. From an estate in the nearby Mississippi Delta comes this distinctive combination style Engagement Ring. Marker’s mark is stamped inside, beside the Karat designation marking, but we cannot decipher it. Style is late 1950s or early 1960s. Construction is 14 Karat Yellow Gold, with .149 inch diameter center solitaire, .20 or 1/5 Carat, with supporting rows of 6 Diamonds per row, fully 1/2 Carat Total Diamond Weight or a bit more. Clarity and color are excellent, only a faint amount of color, normal for yellow gold mounted diamonds. Ring size is 8 1/2, probably up from an original 6, with good shank thickness. Gross weight is 4.65 grams. This ring probably sold new for upwards of $500, over 50 years ago by our estimate.     We are pawnbrokers licensed by the State of Tennessee and by the United States Treasury Dept. since 1968. We do not deal in any new jewelry.
