Case 2 Blade Jack Pocket Knife 62087 Blades Damaged, Repaired XX No USA

            Exact Knife in photos. W.R. Case
& Sons, Bradford, PA, is its manufacturer. 62087 small Jack knife. Case /
XX (no USA) obverse clip blade tang stamp = 1940 – 1964 period. 62087 Pattern
Number dimly on reverse tang. Chrome vanadium steel blades and backsprings;
nickel medallion and bolsters; brass handle pins and liners. Main blade was
originally Clip pattern, with 2 5/8 inches original length. The knife’s owner
broke the point but reshaped it well enough into a hawkbill pattern 2 inch
blade. Pen blade, similarly, is now only 1 5/8 from its original 1 7/8, and
more of a punch configuration than pen, due to prolonged use and sharpening. 3
3/8 inches closed. Genuine brown bone handles, dark obverse and honey light
reverse. We rate this knife as Good / repaired, but photos ought to suffice. From
its original domicile here in Southwest Tennessee.
