Item Description

This listing is for the exact miniature in the photos. From a nearby Memphis Estate comes this unique miniature automobile casting. Manufacturer is unknown, but the 1991 reseller is known and we have will furnish a copy of the bill of sale. It was likely manufactured in New York City. Construction is entirely 14 Karat Gold, and so marked, with diamond headlights. Going by the spare tire position, it represents probably a Lincoln Continental, or perhaps a Dodge Convertible. Dimensions are 1.33 inches length by .48 inch width by .239 inch height. Detail is excellent; note the red enamel seat covers. Weight is 5.6 grams. Bill of sale is deeded to the late owner, and tendered by Ira Moskovitz / 10 West 4th Street, Booth 21 of New York. Bill of sale is dated from 8/7/1991. Whether the seller was the artist by the same name we cannot say, the artist would have been 79 years old in 1991. We’re offering this distinctive 1950s curio for only $889.00. We are pawnbrokers licensed by the State of Tennessee and by the United States Treasury Dept. since 1968. We do not deal in any new jewelry.
