This listing is for the exact Handgun Case in the photos. Here is a leather pistol case or rug, red fleece lined with QuiQui Japanese zipper. Manufacturer was in Postwar Japan, or possibly even earlier. Dimensions are 13 inches overall length by 7 inches width. It will accommodate revolvers and autos with up to 5 inch tapered or pencil barrel revolvers like the 5 inch S&W M&P; or 4 inch Nambus or Lugers from World War II. This case came to us from an estate a couple decades ago. It is dark brown top grain leather, with cotton handle stitching and with braided edge lining; and with red fleece interior. Surface wear is minimal. It is period correct for handguns made ca 1930 – 1970. In the absence of a factory box, it will enhance a handgun’s collectability. It is not recommended, however, for long term storage due to its risk of allowing corrosion, unlike the breathable fabric cases.
