This listing is for ONE Set of Grips. Here are Pachmayr Grips in their debut form for Charter Revolvers. Manufacturer was Pachmayr Gun Works of Los Angeles, so marked inside. Factory number was simply CHA since there were only these and the completely different round butt CHA-C Compac series. From the absence of the mid 1980s Lion Logo, these grips were manufactured some time in the 1970s. Construction is pliable injection molded rubber on hard metal frame plates, with steel screw and escutcheon. Grips grips to fit any Charter Arms Revolver besides the Dixie Derringer. Charter grip frames are all the same, so these will work with Bulldog, Off Duty, Undercover, Undercoverette, Chic Lady, Pink Lady, any of the standard sized revolvers, anywhere from the 2 inch Pathfinders, Undercoverette, and Undercovers chambered in .22, .32, and .38 calibers, all the way to the 3 and 4 inch barreled Bulldogs and Police Bulldogs chambered in .357 Magnum and .44 Special. Barrel length makes no difference to a grip fit. Since these grips saw service in the jurisdictional area of Borinquen Air Station in the Caribbean, the airmen innovated and fitted them to one of their Square Butt Grip Frame Smith & Wessons, perhaps one of our Model 12 Airweights. So, now they will fit either revolver. External surface detractions are minimal, only faint edge wear. We rate these grips as Very Good Condition, perhaps even Excellent but Modified. This variant has been discontinued now for 30 years. We’re offering this unusual set for only $ 39.00.
