This listing is for the exact box in the photos. Here is a factory Thompson / Center Contender Barrel Box. Manufacturer was Thompson / Center Arms of Rochester, NH. From its Caliber and Markings, we estimate it was manufactured around 1999. Construction is one piece box body with adaptable insert that is set on 14 inch barrel length. Parent barrel’s chambering was .357 Maximum, but this box will accommodate any length from 10 to 16 inches. Its principal blemish is the tear in the center area edge of the lid portion. Apart from that Surface detractions are minimal, principally faint amounts of age fading. We estimate this box to be in Very Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This box is period correct for most any Contender manufactured from 1998 until the present. Contenders and their barrels are eminently collectable, and a correct box enhances their value.
