This listing is for the exact revolver in the photos. Brass framed version of the 1851 Navy Revolver, popular in the Confederacy, hence its name 44 Reb. Manufacturer is Fabbrica Armi Fratelli Pietta a Gussago, Italy. Importer and Warrantor is Cabela’s. CP Italian Date Code = 2016 actual production.  Construction is steel barrel assembly, cylinder, hammer, trigger, and internal parts assembled into a brass main frame and grip frame. Chambering is .44 Black Powder, #10 Percussion Cap Ignition. Buyers should be competent and thoroughly familiar with black powder firearms. Single Action Percussion Revolver. 7 1/2 inch octagonal barrel. 13 1/2” oal by 5 1/2” height, 36.4 ounces empty. Polished blued finish on steel, polished brass, and oil finished Italian Walnut grips. Comes in its original box with worn label, as the photos show, in its original factory wrapper with original oil and grease; Pietta Manual, and Cabela’s flyer and manual. It is unfired, and its cylinder has not been rotated nor its hammer cocked, much less fired.  Proof of  majority age, 18 years or older, required for non-dealers.
