deluxe automatic rifle. Printer was Olin’s Winchester-Western of New Haven, CT.
Document is a 9 x 12 inch, single leaf, tri-folded vertically into a 4 9/16 x 9
inch brochure format. Red and black print on white paper. Minimal wear, age
toning. We rate Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, condition, but photos should
suffice. H.W. Cooey made 190, 290 and 490 series rifles for Winchester from 1966
until 1980. This manual is exactly correct for a 290, and close enough for a 190
or even a 490. Owners of Canadian Winchester rimfire rifles who simply want
instructions can download or print free of charge from winchesterguns com or
from a whole host of internet and video sites. Owners, however, of excellent
condition 290 rifles without any factory paperwork, will find that these
