            Exact revolver in photos. Smith & Wesson .357 Combat Magnum Stainless, numbered model 66, Third Engineering Change. BFD serial prefix = 1989 Tomkins production.  Traditional double and single action, medium frame revolver. Milled steel metal. 6 rounds .38 Special or .357 Magnum ammo. 2 1/2 inch Heavy one piece barrel, with 5 groove 1:18.75 right hand rifling. Serrated red ramp front sight with square base adjustable white outline rear..312 smooth faced trigger, with .375 semi target hammer. Agency issue Pachmayr SKGR combat grips. 1.449 cylinder diameter; 7 1/2 inches length by 5 inches height. Weight empty 35 ounces. Finish is original brushed stainless steel, with case colored hammer and trigger. Service domicile was Borinquen Air Station’s jurisdiction Cold War, War on Drugs era.  Surface detractions are minimal, a half dozen contact streaks. We rate this 66 as Excellent, 90 % , but photos should suffice. Blast effect and carbon deposits are minimal; we estimate it was fired fewer than 100 times. Bore and cylinder chambers are all bright and clean. On double action, hammer travels 10 to 15 degrees; fully 30 on single action with 3 pound SA pull. No lateral play. Forcing cone gap is .006. No lateral play. No CA MA Civilians.
