Steel metal with walnut grips. J round frame. 5 rounds .38 Special, not for +P. 2 inch tapered barrel, threaded into the frame, not pinned. Right side frame was line scored for pin, but never installed, so transitional. .240 serrated trigger & hammer. 5 3/4 length x 4 1/4 height. 1.31 cylinder dia. .240 serrated trigger & hammer. 20 ounces empty. 2 to 5 degrees hammer travel double action; 15 single. 4 3/4 lb. single pull. No lateral play. .003 forcing cone gap. Minimal carbon, we estimate fired fewer than 100 rounds. Bright, clean chambers & bore. Domicile was Borinquen Air Station jurisdiction, Cold War service against castro & cartels. Polished surface blue, matte sight area, casehardened hammer, trigger, oil finish grips.
