Hammer fired, traditional double and single action semi auto pistol, Beretta 92 96 family with frame mounted decocking, locking safety levers. Steel slide, barrel, trigger, hammer, parts in a lightweight alloy frame with polymer grips and sights. 10 + 1 rounds .40 S&W ammunition. 3 3/4” Barrel; 3 dot dovetailed fixed sights. .335 smooth trigger that pulls double action ca. 10 # with 1” travel; 2 stage 5# single action with minimal creep. Matching .296 short spur serrated hammer. 7” L x 5” H x 1.065” slide thickness. 28.4 oz empty. Polished stainless / alloy finish with black sights, grips, hammer, and magazine. Moderate wear, principally edge and lateral streaks here and there. We rate Very Good, 80 – 85%, but photos ought to suffice. This PT940 comes from its civilian domicile in Henry County, GA.
