Item DescriptionThis listing is for ONE Set of Grips. Here are correctly cut, original style grips for the venerable FN Browning 1935 Hi-Power pistols, and they are adaptable for Clones like the Hungarian Made FEGs imported by Kassnar, KBI, and others. Manufacturer is Surya Company of Dehradun, Republic of India. Construction is figured Walnut, with lateral coverage machine cut checkering. Panel borders are correct smooth surface. Finish is semi gloss oil finish. Grip screws are Not included. These grips will standard Single Action FN Browning Hi-Power series pistols with left side safety for right handed shooters. In order to fit a FEG Hungarian made clone, the right panel’s countersunk grip screw cavity will have to be carefully modified. For Hi Powers with ambidextrous safety, the right panel will need to be cut on its top to accommodate the lever. These magazines, then, can readily be made to fit any variant of the Browning Hi-Power Pistol, or its clones, that are chambered in 9mm caliber. That includes the FN / Browning Hi-Power pistols, Springfield Armory SA35, FM Argentine, FEG P9, Bulgarian Arcus Pistols, Israeli Kareen, Inglis Canada, Kassnar 9HP all variants, Charles Daly Hi-Power, and Mauser 80SA, all of them Single Action pistols, and chambered in 9mm caliber. They will not fit a Browning BDM; will not fit a FEG R-9 double action pistol; will not fit a Beretta 92; will not fit the carburetor of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. They will only fit Browning Hi-Power Pistols and their clones chambered in 9mm or .40 S&W caliber. Each magazine comes in its original shipping wrap, just like it shipped from India to San Francisco. Normal retail pricing on any wood grips is upwards of $40 apiece; and if one has the Browning Deer Head logo on it, make that upwards of $60.
